CELERA SYSTEMS EXPANDS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TEAM:
MATT FRANEY TO LEAD FLAGSHIP SALESSTATION GROWTH INITIATIVES
Celera Systems, a leader in the development of information technology solutions for the financial services industry, has announced that in response to market demands, it is expanding the business development team for its flagship SalesStation solution. Matthew Franey, a Milwaukee native, has been recruited to add bench strength to the sales team, and will lead Celera’s nationwide effort to build business for SalesStation’s data management, business intelligence and CRM platforms.
With Franey on board, Gary Maradik, a founding partner of Celera, who has been at the helm of the company’s business development efforts since the firm’s inception fifteen years ago, will be freed up to more fully devote his energies to supporting Celera’s booming literature fulfillment business, Merrill Connect. Maradik has held the key liaison role between Celera and Merrill Corporation, who partnered to bring Merrill Connect to the market in l998. Merrill Connect is now the leading literature fulfillment platform in the industry, and is installed in dozens of the largest asset managers and insurance companies to support their distribution organizations.
Franey began his professional career with Ernst & Young, and his investment industry affiliations include both analyst and sales roles with Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, FIS, Corp (formerly Metavante Corporation), and, most recently, Infinity Benefit Solutions. He holds both a BA in Finance and Accounting and his Masters in Accounting and Information Analysis from Lehigh University.
