daveS_smDave brings a unique and seasoned blend of business analytics, marketing, and technology sales experience to his roles at Celera. For the first fourteen years of his career, Dave sold information technology consulting services. He transitioned to an analytical role when he joined AT&T in 2001, where he held successive positions as a Data Manager and Complex Solutions Consultant. Dave has been a key member of Celera’s team for 10+ years, where his prior experiences in data analysis and sales make him well suited for the work he does on product demonstrations, systems implementations, and business intelligence and reporting solutions.

Previously a lifelong resident of Wisconsin, Dave moved to North Carolina when he joined AT&T. He returned after 18 months because he and his wife “missed the nine month long winters and two week long summers”. Dave has completed a few 5Ks and a sprint-distance triathlon, and has a stretch goal of completing a half marathon and an Olympic-distance tri. He enjoys playing and watching many sports. He tries to stay active, playing soccer, tennis, and pick up football when he can. The Green Bay Packers and “whatever team plays the New York Yankees” claim Dave’s allegiance. He has a special hands-on connection to youth baseball, which he coaches. Dave enjoys landscaping/gardening, and creating an environment that attracts bluebirds, tree swallows, hummingbirds, and other wildlife to his yard. Dave is color blind, which could explain the garish colors on some of the reports he creates for Celera clients. He and his wife, Luana, have three children. Dave earned his BBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and his MBA from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin.
