VP Client Sales and Support – SalesStation and Clarity
Beverly Dube’s 25+ years of investment industry experience has been a major source of financial expertise and reference for Celera clients, each who engages extensively with her during SalesStation and Clarity installations and onboarding processes. Beverly began her career as a GNMA trader in the 80’s when mortgage-backed and fixed income securities were king. Over the years, she has held a varying degree of positions, including Chief Compliance Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and everything in between, with independent and regional full-service brokerage and Registered Investment Advisor firms.
After working exclusively with small-to-midsized firms in the 80’s and 90’s, which included establishing a broker/dealer firm which grew from 3 employees to 100+, she joined Bank of America as a Regional Compliance Officer and later took over the role of Accounting Manager for the Bank’s Los-Angeles-based broker-dealer BA Investment Services. Beverly’s executive-level financial and trading operations experience continued when she was assigned the roles of CFO and COO for Hoefer & Arnett, Inc., a major west coast market maker and investment banking institution. Beverly’s last corporate role before joining Celera in 2005 was with Wells Fargo Funds Management, where she held the position of Vice President – Transfer Agency Operations Manager, honing her skills as an innovator for developing and implementing sales and financial reporting solutions for Wells Fargo’s aggressive nationwide asset management distribution organization.
On a day-to-day basis, Beverly is responsible for leading Celera’s Client Relationship and Services teams. In 2007, Beverly distinguished herself as an innovator in the mutual fund industry’s response to newly-enacted SEC omnibus account transparency compliance requirements, leading the development effort, which led to the roll out of Clarity, a software solution to address SEC Rule 22(c)-2. Clarity is installed in many of the largest and most prominent mutual fund organizations in the industry.
Beverly graduated magna cum laude from Golden Gate University where she earned her BA in Business Administration. At one time or another, she has held virtually every securities industry license, including 7, 24, 27, 53 and 63.
Beverly operates out of Celera’s west coast office, and although she makes her home in the San Francisco Bay area, along with her husband and their five children, she still calls Texas “home”. Proximity to the Sonoma and Napa valleys has provided Beverly and her husband the opportunity to become informed and knowledgeable wine connoisseurs. The Northern California Girl Scout organization becomes the beneficiary of Beverly’s extensive operations and financial expertise each year when she assumes hands-on responsibility for managing 50+ troops in the delivery and operations of Girl Scout cookies; Trefoils (shortbreads) are her personal favorite!
