Twenty years into her career in finance, banking and asset management, Beth Sorenson leveraged her broad corporate operations experience when in 2013, she assumed a new, more entrepreneurial role as a Senior Systems Analyst at Celera Systems. Beth’s substantial expertise in leading complex data management and business intelligence projects within intermediary-driven mutual fund distribution organizations for 10 years, combined with her own hands- on, client-facing role as a banking officer and investment advisor for several years, adds significant additional depth to Celera’s business-critical sales reporting and CRM technology solutions.
Beth’s career in finance was jump started when she was elected Treasurer of a small municipality in Wisconsin, a position she held for six years. Concurrent with her role in public service, Beth entered the banking industry, where, over the course of a decade, she held successive positions in client and loan services, personal banking and as a successful investment consultant for a national bank-affiliated broker dealer. In the mid 2000’s Beth was recruited from Wells Fargo’s banking division to the firm’s asset management organization. In her capacities as an operations analyst and analyst for The Advantage Funds, Beth engaged extensively with both information technology and sales professionals to install, enhance and expand business-critical sales and enterprise-wide business intelligence reporting tools, and to optimize the impact of the firm’s industry-leading CRM platforms.
