The founding members and management team at Celera include: Mike Giunta, Kevin
Klein, and Gary Maradik.
Mike Giunta, Director of Product Development, was a software engineer at
Sycamore Group, responsible for business process consulting and designing investment
platform systems. He had a previous affiliation as a business consultant with EDS. Mr. Giunta is a graduate of Marquette University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Kevin Klein, Director of Technology, was also associated with Sycamore Group where he
was a software engineer involved in the design and development of various investment
and portfolio accounting systems. Previously, he worked as a senior systems analyst
and programmer at Strong Funds. Mr. Klein has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer
Science from the University of Illinois.
Gary Maradik, Director of Business Development, was most recently with Sycamore
Group, specializing in financial services consulting and systems implementation. Previously,
he worked at Firstar Corporation where he led numerous project teams
involved with investment and trust system installations and business reengineering
assignments. Mr. Maradik holds BA and MBA degrees, with a concentration in finance,
from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Our primary technology partners, Oracle and Sun Microsystems, are recognized
leaders in their respective fields. Our strategy is to employ the latest web and
thin-client technologies in order to offer our customers a complete turnkey
solution, including a fully hosted environment for those clients seeking
cost-effective, totally outsourced applications that meet the highest standards for
reliability, performance, security and service. Our goal is to provide a simple,
